About KE Carmel Pulincunnoo
K.E. Carmel school is owned by the religious congregation of Carmelites of Mary Immaculate and managed by St. Sebastian’s monastery’s Social Service Society. This unaided educational English medium school was started as the memorial of the centenary of St. Joseph’s H.S.S. Pulincunnoo managed by St. Sebastian’s Monastery Pulincunnoo in the year 1999. One hundred years of experience in imparting the best of education to young minds is the credential of this school. It supports to prepare talented children for the global challenges tossed by the new competitive and quality oriented ethics of the country. One of the attractive features of the school is that it situated in the serene and safe environment of a monastery, situated in the rural set up of the enchanting greenery of Kuttanad.
A new educational ethos conforming to the most enviable standards of excellence is the goal of KE Carmel School. A number of innovative features, aimed at keeping the children up to date with advances in knowledge are being incorporated into the curriculum of the school. St. Kuriakose Elias Chavara, the founder of CMI congregation and the great educational luminary of the 19th century is our source of inspiration.
